Boarding Path: Novel Overview

Which path will you choose: happiness or comfort? These are the forces that have been plaguing Adam's soul. After years of devoutly serving his patients, a psychologist realizes that comfort and routine no longer satisfy his basic human needs. On a whim, Adam journeys to Japan in an effort to challenge his mundane habits only to find that all of humanity struggles with the same issues worldwide. While in Japan, he runs into a series of interesting characters that reshape his understanding of life, society, and human nature. He discovers that the solution to his and society's problems lies in answering one question: Which path to choose happiness or comfort?
Both options constitute pursuing different paths in life, and to reach each outcome one should carefully choose the righteous decisions made along his path. Both choices are not wrong, but the problem lies in working hard to reach one outcome while abiding to decisions that lead to the other choice. Happiness doesn't always imply comfort and the opposite is true.
This novel portrays the importance of listening to one's soul and be guided by its eternal wisdom, nurturing our dreams and dissolving in life abiding to the constitution of tolerance, forgiveness and love.
Adam in 'Boarding Path' has no defined nationality or identity serving one purpose, the unity of humans. We are all the same.
He embarks into a journey aiming for a break and to his surprise this very same escape was filled with answers through its enchanting, thoughtful and intriguing encounters.
